Mmmm. A chamomile tea latte.
It sounds like, and is like, a cuddle in a cup.
Whether it’s demanding hours at work, rushing around to tie up loose ends before the big relax (aka Christmas), or just a habit of stress, I think all of us owe it to ourselves to take five minutes to zen, zone, Instagram scroll (follow!! @ladylivinglocal) – whatever.

I’m making a case right here right now, we owe it to chamomile to give it a shot, in latte form.
Reason 1: It tastes delicious.
Reason 2: It fills you up without filling you out (skim milk..)
Reason 3: It makes you feel sleepy, healthy and just all around good.
I make these a habit before bed. As someone who has had trouble sleeping since I was young (who hasn’t, honestly?) I always needed a little something to soothe me. They also fill an empty stomach, so you don’t go to bed completely deprived and your stomach growls (they get aggressive) don’t keep you up.
What you’ll need:
1 bag chamomile tea (my favorite)
1/2 cup skim milk
honey, to taste (so.. a good squeeze)
1 Nespresso milk frother
**The Nespresso milk frother is the besssst Christmas gift. I’m sorry they cost what they do (boo), but I got one as a gift a few years ago and I use it at least once a week. Love.
- Brew tea and discard bag
- Top with milk and honey
sidenote — The push for skim isn’t all an attempt to save cals. It fluffs up better in the frother. So.. go skim for extra poof!
